Climate and DEI Events

Department town hall events focus on climate and DEI issues relevant to both undergraduate and graduate students, and welcome anyone interested to attend and make themselves heard. Attendees can also learn about recent efforts in the department to survey students and organize activities to improve our climate.

In 2020, CSE hosted three open forum town hall meetings, two community gatherings, and a joint Juneteenth Celebration with ECE and Michigan Robotics. In 2021, CSE hosted two open forum town hall meetings focused on graduate student issues.
